Turning Three (April 1980)

I had a birthday, and here’s the Batman cake to prove it.

I’ve never been great at blowing out candles.

No need to cut the cake Mom, I have a perfectly good spoon right here.

I got some gifts, too. I would like to take a moment to address the media shelf in the background. My dad made it and I think he still has it; he builds things to last.

Opening some stuff.

Behold, my awesome slide; I remember using this thing a lot.

Here I am playing with a Spider-Man Hot Wheels set that grandpa and Grandma Gleason got me. I think I still had that Spider-Man car when I was a teenager.

Speaking of Grandpa and Grandma Gleason, here they are. On a side note, I don’t remember seeing Grandpa Gleason put his arm around anyone, ever.
